The hotel is a 45-room (and growing) historic luxury property that underwent a complete renovation in 2024. Here, historic architecture meets modern comfort, attracting a broad target group including business travelers, private guests, weddings, conferences, and international visitors. The business continues to grow and develop.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and business-oriented Hotel Manager who will be responsible for day-to-day operations and ensuring a high and consistent level of service.

The hotel manager reports directly to the CEO and owner, restaurant manager, and housekeeping/reception manager to ensure good coordination between the central functions.

The role is operational and requires a good understanding of finance, strong communication skills, and a clear sense of brand development and positioning.

 

Main Responsibilities

Operations & Guest Experience

· Responsible for the daily operations of the reception, housekeeping, and restaurant

· Ensure a high level of service and guest satisfaction

· Handle guest feedback and escalated issues in a professional manner

· Ensure compliance with laws and regulations relating to the working environment, safety, and health

Economy & Results

· Responsible for budget, forecasts, and cost control

· Monitor revenue, occupancy, and profitability

· Work in a structured manner with KPIs and growth targets

· Ensure efficient operation without compromising quality

· Strategy & Brand

· Contribute to long-term business development and planning

· Support brand positioning and participate in marketing-related discussions

 

Leadership

· Create a positive work culture with a focus on responsibility and service quality

· Set goals and conduct employee follow-ups

 

Qualifications

· At least 5 years of experience in the hotel or hospitality industry

· At least 3 years of experience in a senior hotel role

· Strong financial and operational understanding

· Very good knowledge of modern hotel and business systems

· Good understanding of hotel operational routines and documentation

· Strong communication skills and good decision-making abilities

· Fluent Swedish and English

 

Working hours

Full-time on site. Attendance may sometimes be required on weekends and public holidays depending on the needs of the business.
