Hotel receptionist

Welcome to Söderfors Herrgård—a historic manor house dating back to 1690, designed by the court architect Carl Hårleman, which has been transformed into a luxurious waterfront resort. Here, Swedish cultural heritage meets modern comfort, with a hotel, spa, restaurant, bar, and conference center that together create a unique experience.

We are looking for a receptionist—an exceptional team member who has what it takes to deliver a significant part of the experience our guests enjoy here in Söderfors and at Herrgården. We assume you live in the region and have a driver’s license and access to a car. To work here, you must appreciate the importance of preserving a sense of history and our unique environment.

Work tasks

As a receptionist, you are the guest's first contact and play a central role in the business. Your responsibilities include:

- Checking guests in and out

- Handling of reservations, payments, and invoicing

- Guest communication via email, phone, and at the front desk

- Coordinating with other departments to ensure smooth operations

- Assistance with events and weddings, and occasionally as a hostess in the restaurant Qualifications

- At least 2 years of experience working at a hotel front desk

- Fluent in spoken and written Swedish and English

- A strong commitment to customer service, a sense of responsibility, and the ability to work independently

- Experience with reservation systems and cash register operations
