Hotel receptionist

Work tasks

As a receptionist, you are the guest's first contact and play a central role in the business. Your responsibilities include:

  • Check-in and check-out of guests
  • Management of bookings, payments and invoicing
  • Guest communication via email, phone and at the reception
  • Planning of cleaning and room schedules and simple room inspections
  • Coordination with other staff to ensure smooth operation
  • Help at events and weddings, and sometimes as a hostess in the restaurant

Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of experience working in hotel reception
  • Fluent in spoken and written Swedish and English
  • Good sense of service, responsibility and ability to work independently
  • Experience with booking systems and cash register management is an advantage
