Hotel receptionist
Work tasks
As a receptionist, you are the guest's first contact and play a central role in the business. Your responsibilities include:
- Check-in and check-out of guests
- Management of bookings, payments and invoicing
- Guest communication via email, phone and at the reception
- Planning of cleaning and room schedules and simple room inspections
- Coordination with other staff to ensure smooth operation
- Help at events and weddings, and sometimes as a hostess in the restaurant
Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience working in hotel reception
- Fluent in spoken and written Swedish and English
- Good sense of service, responsibility and ability to work independently
- Experience with booking systems and cash register management is an advantage
